I have find this expression in Puddlejumper’s blog ( thanks ) , I have heard it before several time but I have forgotten…
“touch wood” “tocca ferro” ( litteraly “touch iron”)
wood= legno
ferro= iron
I don’t know why.
edit: the origin of the Italian “touch iron” could be from [...]
